Shadow Puppets

The other night Chris and I were laying in bed and for some reason I got out his reading book light to see what Nico was doing. She has never been afraid of the dark before but when I shined the light on her and shined it away- she got kind of nervous. Well we were shining the light all around and then we started making shadow puppets with our hands. It only took like 5 seconds of doing this for Nico to become COMPLETELY terrified! She jumped up onto the bed onto Chris' head and was whimpering. It was pretty funny but also SO sad! I hurried and switched the light off and we both pet her and tried to calm her down- but nothing worked! She was so scared and was the entire night!
It has been 2 nights since the shadow puppet debacle and she has been skiddish ever since. The poor thing is so scared even when its light outside.
We feel so bad- what did we do!?
(Nobody needs a 60 pound whimpering lap dog)

Hahaha! That's hilarious! Jester is terrified of fireworks, kids playing baseball next door and kids splashing in the pool next door. Pretty much any noise he hits the back door with all fours. Then he either sits with us (sometimes climbing on us on the couch) or runs in and out of the kids rooms to make sure they're ok. Dogs are funny. We often think Jester must think we're horrible parents for not checking on the kids when there's loud booming going on outside.
