Mighty Mouse

I almost couldn't believe my eyes the other morning when I looked out the window and found Zira sitting outside the door with a little mouse in her mouth looking oh so proud. I was shocked and instantly threw the door open and yelled at her to drop it- in an unusual moment of obedience she did just that. It was upsetting to see that the little mouse was still alive and was not looking so good. I ran up to get Chris and unfortunately for him, he had to be put the little thing out of his misery and then bury him away where he won't resurface....... poor little guy.
(I must admit that I am quite proud of the Dilly for catching a mouse though.....) But don't worry mice, I wouldn't count on Zira catching anyone else anytime soon.

Happy Easter Week

I was so excited to break these babies out of the closet this morning-
there isn't many opportunities you get to wear
these without looking like a total weirdo.

Hub Caps and Rock Chips

In the 3 1/2 years I have owned my car
I have lost 3 hub caps
Replaced my windshield 3 times
The even worse news:
I just got a new rock chip in my windshield this week
AND I replaced my windshield
less than two weeks ago

Ugh!
